Kate Alley Photography
/From a young age, Kate Alley frequently found herself eager to capture the world around her, camera in hand. Her habit grew into a full-fledged passion, and by high school, she was being asked to photograph senior portraits.
Fast forward several years, and Kate’s portrait requests became wedding photography inquiries. The first weddings she shot brought about a deeper understanding of what it is to be a photographer: Kate felt a deep and personal call to communicate the beauty of the Creator through beautiful imagery. A way to exhibit the unique beauty of every person’s life.
After two years as a FOCUS missionary, now a bride-to-be herself, Kate’s love affair with photography continues to deepen. She loves and values her time with engaged couples, eager to walk alongside them in the beauty, intimacy, and love of their wedding days.

What a gift God has given to us through the union of man and wife and the love that springs forth from them. For those called to marriage, it's an incredible opportunity to grow in Christ's likeness and to love as he loves us.
My Catholic faith definitely plays a large role in my business. I've always worked to give it to God. When I want to take control, God gently reminds me that this business is not mine to control, but his to use for his glory. I also find I appreciate the beauty of weddings more because of my faith and the knowledge I have of the sacrament. This appreciation directs the types of photos I capture--especially during the ceremony.
