While studying Horticulture and Business Administration at Texas A&M, Katrina Polk spent four years interning with event venues and florists around Texas and in New York City. After graduating and marrying her husband, they moved to Nebraska to begin their married lives together. Unbeknownst to Katrina, the transition to a small town offered a new opportunity for her to open a floral business, a dream she never anticipated would come to fruition so early in her life.

The Little Flower Company--named in honor of Saint Therese of Lisieux--has a small, mighty, and devoted mission to incorporate beautiful flowers to accent the sacrament of marriage in a complementary and beautiful way. Katrina’s greatest professional joys come through her collaborations with wedding vendors and brides, especially when she is able to witness each part of a wedding ceremony set up in preparation on the big day.

From Katrina:

“I love working with Catholic bride's & their families! It is such a breath of fresh air when someone tells me they reached out to me because of my Catholic faith displayed on my website. I literally get chills every time & it brings such a big goofy smile to my face. When I am setting up the day of a Catholic wedding I love spending time in the church & thanking God for my job. I truly love what I do & none of this would be possible without Him.”
